The Bauge family are the first in France to install the latest Fullwood Merlin machine…but they are not new to robotic milking…or to Fullwood. Mr Bauge first installed a Merlin twelve years ago and as the photos below show it was only now removed to make way for the latest model.
The installation was completed in May 2012 by the Packo France and supported by members of the technical team from Fullwood in the UK. The first milking took place on 29th May. 60 cows were milked, averaging 3.2 milkings each and a total of 2000 litres.
